Way too many to think of just one, but avoid the cliches like Sweet Child even though its a good song!

I'd put my top list as:
Civil war
You could be mine
Attitude (cover version, but its still great)
Get in the ring
Used to love her
One in a million
Estranged
Dont cry
So fine

I pretty much missed off everything from Appetite as I judge that album as a single piece of work, with not a bad tune on it!

"My Michelle"- It one of the last tracks on Appetite for Destruction. The song is like a dark L.A. fairytale about some chick that is destined to live a life of drug abuse and prostitution. Definately not a happy song, it captures the gritty back-alley ambiance that could only come from five punks with nothin to lose livin in a one room dive with too many 8-balls.

The song starts off slow with a somber, but beautiful clean chord progression and then slams into high gear with balls to the wall Les Paul through Marshall stacks guitar power. The lyrics are equally brutal.

The song is four minutes of the good, the bad, and the ugly that made these guys "the" rock band of the late eighties. In my opinion no band has ever been or will ever be more rock n' roll than GNR on this album, on this track.
