Wow, another part of my childhood gone.
When I first saw wrestling, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes was the first wrestler I ever saw on TV. When I first saw him (1973) he was in his 20's and he already looked like he was in his 40's! I thought he was a lot older.
Announcer Gordon Solie (the voice of wrestling, for me) went on to WWE/NWA Heaven many years ago, now Dusty has joined him.
My condolences to the Dust family.

Let me tell ya about dead times. When a man has a heart attack in the middle of the airport...those are dead times. When a woman commits suicide because her life insurance policy seems more valuable to helping her family than her work...those are dead times...
What? Too soon?
The American Dream himself. He kind of had the swagger and the demeanor of a southern rock band singer.
