Most of you must have jobs out there... besides sitting in front of the computer! What do you do?
For me, besides being a full-time wench, I am a full-time nurse. Not to mention, a mother (for that is a job in-itself).

No, really. I work in the Graduate Admissions Office of a small private college. I do data entry and some other computer related stuff as well as do all the work for a special program that we have that allows the men and women in camoflage at the local army base to get some college classes. As well as organize the program that we have that allows teens with academic problems to start their college careers after they pass the GED.

Well, in 15 years of nursing, I have been in every department in my local hospital...I did my longest stint in Med/Surg. Now I work in the Subacute unit. I always wanted to be a nurse and I cannot imagine doing anything else!

since last wednesday i'm a supermarket cashier and I started working fulltime yesterday 9pm-6am. My feet are swollen, i cut my finger yesterday, im getting pimples on my face cause of stress, I dont have enough time to spend with my honey and I'm always sleepy. This job is going to kill me

For the better part of the last 16 years I have been a Certified Nurses Aid. I have worked in several nursing homes,hospitals,pediatric wards psych units and hospice centers. I have seen people born,I have seen people die and I have wiped more asses than I wanna think about. I've been thinking about going back to school and learning another health care trade. I know I don't wanna be a nurse, those poor people are allways so stressed at the end of the shift,the money is just not worth it.

Oh, I'd love to work in a hospice center! Something about death and dying that fascinates me! I know it sounds crazy, but it's true!
I'm not too stressed after my shift, but then I work in a smaller-city hospital. I think we (nurses) should get paid more, for the work that we do, but in general, I am very satisfied with my job. It's just all the bull shit that goes on in management that pisses me off!
