I'll say, It's everything you wanted Halo 1 to be at the same time it's enough like the 1st that after getting a feel for the maps I could still play with the big boys (and girls) and pwn the unsuspecting Microsoftie.

Lucky bastard!  Man, i am so looking forward to that game! Halo1 still gets repeated playings on my X-Box. I'm sure Pt. 2 will top that even. Again, if you've never played Halo, you are so missing out!

I absoutely hate all first person shooters. I hate doom. I hate Quake. I passed on Halo thinking it was more of the same. I have never been so wrong in my life. I tried it one day and was instantly hooked. I loved it so much that I bought two additional controllers and it wasn't even my X-box! I can't wait for the sequel.

I don't actually hate 1st person shooters, it's just that most 1st person shooters give me motion sickness (X-Box magazine actually has a small feature on this in this months issue). Return to Castle Wolfstein and Medal of Honor are the worst offenders. Play those long enough and I feel totally sick!
With Halo somehow, I never have this problem. I think perhaps it may have something to do with it's steadier camera and better control.

I never had a problem with motion sickness, it was more of the dark and depressing storylines. With Halo you get a great story and you get to ride around in cool vehicles.

OK, I found some existing screenshots, since I was sworn to secrecy (any leaks could lead to no more Halo 2 untill the rest of the world gets it) I realise these have been around for a while, so no real new info here, but I just wanted to put things in perspective.  There's something about being able to choose weather to be a Masterchief or an alien in Multi that adds to the fun. (note the guy jumping on the hood of the ghost)  This is an excellent wepon combo, riddle with bullets whith one hand and charge your pistol in the other  Prove your masculinity in a good ol' fasioned sword fight  The huge comlex levels are incredible! (note the overturned warthog on one side of the screen and what apears to be a detached tire on the other  )
