Hey all,

This year lots of good stuff has been planned to celebtrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of that iconic BBC television program Doctor Who. The program first screened in the UK on 23rd November 1963.

For more info about the good Doctor, please refer to the following links:
1st Doctor
2nd Doctor
3rd Doctor
4th Doctor
5th Doctor
6th Doctor
7th Doctor
8th Doctor
9th Doctor in the upcoming BBCi animated internet adventure

Since the good Doctor's adventures stopped on TV in 1989, us Doctor Who fans have had to be content with novels, audio adventures and internet adventures (oh and a not-so-good TV movie in 1996, which gave us a pretty darn good 8th Doctor).

However...

The bestest news of all has been announced - The return of Doctor Who to TV!! [biiiig grin] Well in 2005 anyway.

Here be the official BBC announcement about Doctor Who

In related news Big Finish - the folks who do the Audio Advenutres (including the multi-Doctor 40th Anniversary Adcventure Zagreus) have also had their licence renewed by the BBC to 2007.

Happy Times and Places everyone!

Yeah true Doc,

But usually it's the BBC dissing those rumours.

It's the first time the BBC have made the announcement (well since 1996 and last April's Fool Day anyway [wink] ).
