That's the thing that bugs me about this, too. It's the constant going back and rewriting comic-book history that irritates me. Like how the Bierbaums completely worked over Legion of Super-Heroes history until it was almost unrecognizable. I'd rather the writers of any given comic bring NEW stuff into the mix rather than retreading old stories.
