The fact that, right at this minute, there are probably people who have shit themselves because they are unable to tear themselves away from GTA - San Andreas - got me wondering:
How many hours do you spend playing games each week?

Last week when I bought Fable I put in about 15 hours (and I'm still not finished!), but I'm on a hiatus so I can read books and stuff.

It had usually varied throughout the year. About a couple hours a week, if that, but with all these kick ass games coming out recently since about September (and more this month) it has been more. About 3-4 hours a day and much longer on the weekend. The game that I am spending the most time on is Mortal Kombat: Deception, mostly the online play. I plan to get GTA: SA soon as well as Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (maybe) and Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater and Viewtiful Joe 2.

Depending on my workload it ranges anywhere between 2 - 15 hours of gaming a week. In my old Online RPG days when I was a for real addict I could go on a 10 hour binger in a single day no sweat.

When I really get into a game, I could play it for more than ten hours a day. I usually play 2 or 3 hours a day, less when I work.

The problem is when I'm playing video games I'm not multi-tasking. I always try to do at least two things at once. Like at least when I'm surfing the internet I'm either eating a meal or studying for class. I can usually study when I'm eating or when I'm watching a movie. But when I'm playing the X-box both my hands and my eyes have to be completely focused on the game. So I can't do anything else.

You study while watching a movie? When I do that I end up not learning anything and being upset that I wasn't concentrating on the movie. It also drives me crazy when I see other people try to do other things while watching a movie.

I know guys like myself who can multi task like nobodies business & I know women who can barely do one thing at a time!
I've always hated that whole "Women are better at multi tasking" thing!
