Lucas claims that it "harkens back to the sense of pure fun, imagination and excitement that characterized the classic movie serials and pulp space fantasy adventures that inspired the 'Star Wars' saga." I think he's been letting his kids name the movies again.

Thoughts?

regardless, the movie name (and movie itself) will still suck.

And while I'm still not thrilled about the title, I'm not spitting mad any more...

regardless, the movie is what matters to me. and, i dont see it living up to the hype (again).

tho there is such incredible room for an intriguing story, and, going with the "clone" storyline gives them a great chance to revive darth maul (for action figures' sake atleast).

Ewan McGregor has never held back on expressing his opinion regarding the STAR WARS franchise, and word of the film's new title is no exception.

While talking to the UK Popcorn website, McGregor was asked what he thought of the title being STAR WARS: EPISODE II - ATTACK OF THE CLONES. McGregor didn't hold back, saying, "It's a terrible, terrible title."

Mind you, he did say this with a smile on his face, but... ouch!
