They took some photos, bought some over-priced soft drinks and went on their way.

Sometimes the numbers have been absolutely enormous. Even a few moments ago there were 79 lurkers. 79! It was twice the number of people actually posting on the board!
Rob should think about making the board visible to registered members only. Bet he'd have 50 people join up immedicately.
