Like Robin (Tim) being Jew/Catholic (or Cashew as my cousin calls himself) I also didn't get the Nightwing is Roma/Gypsy. Just because he was a circus performer?

And they point out that in his apartment there were christian books and other things. i don't recall ever noticing anything like that, and i'm pretty sure i'd pick up on that.
