The character, not a spoiler about a book. Unless you haven't read War Games, then this is a spoiler about Spoiler. She's dead. Batman killed her. Quote:

I say Batman is ultimately responsable for it because how can she forsee Matches Malone not showing up if Batman never bothered telling her the he is Matches. Also, he's the one that keeps leaving files around that get people killed or almost killed (didn't some badguy get ahold of files on how to take out all the JLA?) He let her be Robin, but didn't tell her basic info like who Matches Malone is. Even Catwoman commented on that when she took Steph in during WarGames.
The thing with Leslie killing her is bullshit. I think the writers/editors now realize that, and I think thats one reason why she hasn't been mentioned other than by Cassandra. I honestly don't care if Leslie comes back, but I think Spoiler was a good character and a good influence on Batgirl and Robin both.

Its her fault. She got herself killed. She was snooping where she didn't belong. If she was so eager to get Batmans approval she would have listened to him and still would have been alive today.

Snooping? I don't think she was, she obviously was given access to those files. She wasn't a hacker like Tim, so she had to have had the password or whatever to get into the war games files.

They haven't said anything about Leslie coming back and Steph is still dead  I was hoping that maybe SuperCrazyBoy's tantrums would undo this, but apparently not

I kinda liked the Spoiler character. Seemed quite in sync with Robin. Too bad

He shouldn't have to tell her he's Matches - she hadn't earned that right yet - especially since she was not given access to those files. She had no right to hack into his files and as he never gave her permission to see those plans in the first place, he didn't have to explain to her any of the missing pieces (ie. Matches) to any of those plans. She was a noob and had not yet gotten to know everything there was to be about Robin, let alone Batman. What I meant by "forsee" is that seeing as she had just gotten the role of Robin, she should have known that there were many things about Batman and his techniques, procedures, etc., that she wouldn't been privy to - certainly not so early in the game.

Talia. That was the Tower of Babel storyline in JLA. Excellent tale - and again, he didn't just leave them around, Talia, at the behest of her father (again), hacked into his files for that information.

He let her be Robin on a trial basis - a trial that she clearly failed. There was no way that she would have been given access to, or been told everything about the Batman - and common sense should have told her as much.

Personally, I liked Spoiler and think that she should have been Batgirl when they first reintroduced that character.

No, like I said above, she hacked into the program, and there was no permission (express or implied) given to her by Bats to look at them.
