which comic book team (the creative, behind the scenes kind, not the fighting, characters in the book kind) is your all time favorite?

Alan Moore And everyone he's ever collaborated with. %100 quality output. This man has not written a bad story (or if he has - I haven't read one - and I've read quite a few) Check out any TP'S. Watchmen, League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, V for Vendetta, Batman Killing Joke, any of the other America's Best Comics stuff for Alan taking on almost every genre of comics published - SciFi Hero, Detective Heroes, Fantasy Heroine, Humorous Superheroics, Pulp Detective.....it goes on)
Yay Alan.

I know it sounds cliched, but the Claremont/Byrne team on Uncanny X-men still remains one of my favorites. Props also to John Byrne's solo run on FF. Stern & Romita Jr, along with Lee & Ditko on Amazing Spider-man got me interested in reading comics, so I have to give them a big thumbs up. I also really dug Wolfman & Perez on Titans and Paul Levitz with just about anybody (especially Keith Giffen) on Legion. Can't think of too much current stuff that sticks out in my mind, but if I do, I'll pop 'em up...

Too many to mention. I'll list 5:

Goyer/Johns and Sadowski on JSA
Johns and Kolins and Sinclair (colorist) on Flash
Levitz and Lightle on Legion (vol 3/Baxter series)
Robinson and Harris on Starman
Robinson and Smith on Golden Age (if we're counting minis)

Levitz and Giffen, especially the Great Darkness Saga.

Levitz and Lightle. Steve ROCKS as a cover artist.

Currently Loeb and Lee's Batman has me reading my first Bat-related title in about 10 years.

Also love Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill on LOEG. Anyone that can bring John Carter of Mars back into the world of comics is aces in my book.

Oh, I forgot Wolfman and Perez back on the New Teen Titans. The only book that came close to stealing my attention away from the Legion.

I know what you mean Scott, I had the same experience with the New Teen Titans. Almost got my focus away from LSH, but not quite.
