Batman would be outgunned by Spidey. Doesn't mean Spider-Man is the better hero, however (even though he is).

Spidey would just tell a joke that would make Batman laugh. New crews would then record this and have it shown on all newsstations in the world negating the fear and terror surrounding him.
This would then shame Batman and force him to go into exile as a Circus Clown
