Aquaman, an apparent casualty during the Our Worlds at War story line, does have a future.

"We have definite plans for Aquaman," DC Comics editor Dan Raspler said. "Go to JLA #61, you might find a clue in there."

On Friday, writer Greg Rucka said during the DC panel: "His name is Arthur, and he's named Arthur for a reason. Aquaman is the once and future king."

Raspler reiterated those words on Saturday, again emphasizing "future." He also noted that Aquaman will be appearing in Cartoon Network's Justice League animated series.

apparently (according to wizard, anyway), the OWAW aquaman death was supposed to be a REAL aquaman death ... (or, at least, as real as comic deaths go).

and, WB nixed the idea at the last minute, because of aquamans recurring role in the JLA animated adventures.

Hex was so stereotyped that I couldn't read more than 2 issues. The blue latex suit kind of pissed me off too.

The Vertigo Hex is a shit load better.
