This is a collection of alternative versions of songs that appeared on Drake's other albums. The big draw for me is a previously unheard recording - Tow The Line
Until recently the last song that Drake was thought to have commited to tape was a skeletal piece of folk called Black Eyed Dog. There was an animal desparation in his voice when he sang it and he died of an overdose soon after.
When they were remastering the tape containing his last four recordings they let it run on and discovered another lost song called Tow the Line. It has the strong melodic guitar lines that Drake was famous for. The lyrics find him standing at a crossroads where things could go either way.
