Total Nonstop Action Wrestling released former NWA Tag Team champions The Naturals, Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas today. I haven't heard a reason for the release yet. The two were last pushed during a period where they were managed by Shane Douglas, who was playing a drill instructor role where he not only wanted them to succeed but eliminate any mistakes they made during their matches.

that sucks. they were a good team and could've become a great team if given the right angles/push. they've been through a lot of shit the last couple of years.

They had to make space for great tag teams like The Bashams and the Heart ThROBs!
Is it any wonder that I see TNA as being WWE lite!

Last time I saw either one of them, Scott Steiner squashed Chase Stevens in under a minute.
Steiner jumped Stevens before the bell, belly-to-belly from the second turnbuckle, pinfall.

For every decent decision they make (Christian, Sting, Angle), they make two shitty decisions!

Nah. The Naturals were stupendously dull, and never got over wit hte audience. Sure, part of that is the way they were booked, but they were guiven multiple title runs, and they still never got over the way they should've.

Not great, but at least interesting. They were kinda like Team 3D, in that even though individually they weren't great (although Doug coulda been pretty good), as a team they had a lot going for them.

Pssstt, Nowhereman! He likes Monty Brown. Remember?
