That CGI statue is the shittiest CG I've seen in a long time.

I think the first minute of this is really crap. Its meant to convey a sense of the plot but entirely fails to grab the imagination of the viewer. And yes, the shitty statue doesn't help.

what pose was the statue in anyway? It looks like he's figure skating without a partner. Or advertising a deodorant.

I think the pose of the statue is supposed to be a call back to the flying pose from Superman one in 1939 but it's so poorly rendered it's hard to tell

It's hard to get used to the new superman/batman relationship going in reverse order....enemies first and skeptical friends later...

I'm probably spoiling a future Cracked article but the statue isn't CGI.
