SOME SPOILERS

I like that Xmen and Avengers form a team together.

I like Havok being in charge as he's always been one of my favorites.

I like Havok telling Cap to shut the fuck up and let him run the team.

Scarlet witch and Rouge Don't like each other, but maybe they will work it out.(hot lesbo scene, please)

The art was nice and the story flowed well.

I like Havok too. One of my favourite X-men annuals is where the team are in a place where their desires manifest: he decides to just stop being in control, and lets fly. He becomes a star (its all made good at the end). I thought this really made it clear what his power is. Its not shooting frikkin' laser beans. Its having a star trapped inside him.

Anyway, I'll take a look at this on your fine recommendation, Lothjoey.

Not a big fan of Remender's writing......the first 6 issues are bad....it gets better, but everything seems off ..IMO.

This is easily my favorite book right now. From any publisher.

Shit just gets more and more intense with each subsequent issue.

The book is drawing on plotlines from across the history of the Marvel Universe and turning them on thier ears. It's really fun stuff!

That it features most of my favorite Marvel characters in one book (Wanda, Steve, Janet and Alex....on one team!) made it an instant 'must read' for me. The fact that the story is fucking brilliant shot my appreciation into the stratosphere.

I love that he's employing Clarmont styled heavy narration to frame the story. It just fits.

But, yeah....by the end of the fourth issue, with the DOFP throwback, I was hooked. I love it! :D
