Pariah and I have been arguing about Selina's breast size. Are they the Belant ballons, or the smaller Cooke/Stewart breasts?
Considering she has been highly athletic all her life, one would think they would be smaller. But, Pariah has a point about her being a bit more well endowed than most athletic builds b/c she was a prostitute.
So, my question is, how well endowed is she? How large should her breasts be drawn? Is her bra a B, C, or D?
Anyone who knows these things, please respond.
Everyone else, have a field day.
But as a serious topic of discussion, if you were drawing Selina, what measurements would you use? What is believable?

Bullshit! Balent's drawings are very realistic, and as PenWing corrected me on the DCMBs, she's had PLENTY of time to compensate on balance to accomadate her breasts.

Are you saying it is completely impossible for Selina to have a unique body as well as personality (well, this USED to be true in the persona department anyway)? It's not like ALL of the women were being drawn like her when Balent was on. It would be at THAT point that I would discredit Balent's Catwoman, not over this. It's stupid!

Pariah, my point is that this is a realistic style, and Selina should be drawn in a realistic fashion. If Brubaker writes in that she got a boob job, then she can have the D sized breasts, b/c they have built in support. (Although why she would want breasts that large is beyind me, they would just get in the way.)
Think of it this way: what would a real life Selina Kyle's dimensions be?

PenWing, you missed what I said before.
Just because Selina is in a comicbook, it does not mean that her originally given bust size can be construed as realistic. Again, there IS such a thing as athletic women with big breasts, and again (also) it holds up with continuity.
Just because Brubaker is creating his own style (which he likes to pass off as "realistic"), it doesn't mean that he should disavow continuity by getting rid of Selina's well endowed body and throwing people off the sent of his kiss ass policy (to make himself more popular) by saying that 'T&A sucks'. Obviously, anybody that disagrees with that is going to verbally get the shank, so his techniques have gone unargued.
This is believability and continuity over liberalism to justify a character being what they currently are due to the manipulating hands of a writer out to make a name for himself by getting into bed with political minorities. AND IT MAKES ME SICK TO MY FUCKING STOMACH!!! >:( >:( >:(

In other words, Balent wasn't engaging in fantasising about women through his art (other than his wife, perhaps , which I find somewhat commendable and natural), and Catwoman's physique is actually based on a real life person.
