Thanks for the link woodstock. Used to be able to go to Comics Continuum for that kinda info but that fucking site always tries to download SecThought.E on my computer now.

Hehehe, the back up in Detective with Riddler taking on Ivy; guy seems to be going out of his way to piss off all the rogues these days. Anyways, War Games seems to be really kickin' into gear in Oct (although the "mastermind" behind things, all out chaos from criminals, wearing down Batman, all seems to resemble what Bane did a la Knightfall). They mention Mr. Fun in Robin and that gets me thinking that maybe the "mastermind" behind the deal might be Athena from the Batman: Family mini awhile back (kicked ass, btw).

That means your computer is infected. Download and run spybot and adaware and the problem should go away. I used to have the same problem.

Anyhow back to comics. The cover for Identity Crisis is not included. Could it give something away?

That's probably why it's missing.

The cover to Firestorm #6 confirms that Ronnie is dead.

And I'm even more excited for War Games now that they're taking Suicide King and Mr. Fun from the EXCELLENT Batman Family mini (2002).

Yup, I update them about once a week or every two weeks. Gotta keep up best I can.

Titans grown up? Identity Crisis tie-ins (guess what they are saying in the other topic is true about Firestorm)? John Walsh in Outsiders? JLA #107 kinda bringing JLA/Avengers into canon? Monolith in Hawkman? Green Lantern: Rebirth? Superman/Batman and Superman #210 have them pitted against Wonder Woman? October is going to be one bust freakin' month.

There's a few things I'd buy if I still bought single issues, but no good TPBs...

Thing is- I can’t spell or type. I spell so badly my spell check doesn’t even know what I was trying to spell. And I have five Eisners HAHAHAHHA!! -Brian Michael Bendis

The DC Rarities Archive looks very cool! I'd like to see more volumes of this, but what other one-shots can they put in from the Golden Age or Silver Age?

If there were a Bronze Age or modern version I'd love it, but very few modern age stories would justify an archive.

Come on! JSA and Mystery Theater are great reads. Another good one is the Birthright HC.

And: the My Faith In Frankie digest from Vertigo! That mini got really good reviews.

I'm not seeing much of anything that leaps out at me. What, specifically, comes out that's suppose to make this month so great?

I haven't been to my comic shop since late November, so I'm curious.

Woo. Busiek on JLA. I'm suddenly less ashamed to read this book every Month.

I guess it's just super-appealing to me for how much I love the DC Universe...

That was sarcasm, right? ...RIGHT? I mean, it's Busiek...

I'm still hoping Kurt Busiek gets to have a chance to write a new KAMANDI book based on the original Jack Kirby issues as he mentioned he wanted to do on the old DCMBs.

I love Asto City, and there was once a time where I might have even said Busiek was my favorite writer, but I think he's lost a lot. Power Company kind of signaled the end.
