Needless to say, I'm really excited about War Games, the next bat crossover. I just thought I would compile all the issues that are part of it:

Prologue
Batman: The 12-Cent Adventure
Act I
1 - Detective Comics #797
2 - Legends Of The Dark Knight #182
3 - Nightwing #96
4 - Batman: Gotham Knights #56
5 - Robin #129
6 - Batgirl #55
7 - Catwoman #34
8 - Batman #631
Act II
1 - Detective Comics #798
2 - Legends Of The Dark Knight #183
3 - Nightwing #97
Tie-in: Gotham Central #23
4 - Batman: Gotham Knights #57
5 - Robin #130
6 - Batgirl #56
7 - Catwoman #35
8 - Batman #632
Act III
1 - Detective Comics #799
2 - Legends Of The Dark Knight #184
3 - Nightwing #98
Tie-in: Gotham Central #24
4 - Batman: Gotham Knights #58
5 - Robin #131
6 - Batgirl #57
7 - Catwoman #36
8 - Batman #633
Tie-in: Birds Of Prey #75

Very cool. This will probably lead-in to Detective Comics #800, the anniversary of the longest-running comic ever.

Too much fucking crossover. Its the same old stunt designed to get the plebes to buy all of the titles. Screw that.

I wish they would just start writing stories that are straight-to-TPBs (similar to straight-to-video movies) to save me a lot of effort in tracking down issues.

Or buying three TPBs, like No Man's Land or Our Worlds at War...

I thought No Man's Land and Our Worlds At War were more like 6 TPB's....

What is the appeal of Wargames, besides the fact that it requires buying every Batbook short of the cartoon tie-ins? Come to think of it, that's not appealing at all.

Thankfully, Birds of Prey isn't involved. And I'm dropping Batgirl just in time...

It appeals to me because I'm a Batman die-hard.
