since its my sick day i decided to go into some of my older games on the old x-box. Brothers in Arms is the shit!

i played neverwinter nights briefly. final fantasy 12. need for speed most wanted. and god of war 1.
all off and on right now

Just bought the Sonic Mega Collection for X-Box, I'll be playing that later tonight.

Just downloaded Tekken 5:DR for the PS3!

Playing Guild Wars, as per usual.

World Of Warcraft. Played it till six in the morning last night. My main character is now at level 54.

Getting tired of Warcraft. I need a RPG where I can play without some teenage tard constantly asking me for money or to help him out with some shit I don't want to do.

I think I'm gonna start Neverwinter Nights soon.

I always thought the subscription fee kind of weeded out a large part of the teenage retards from the community.

I get it all the time in guild chat. "I need (insert a ridiculous amount of gold here) to get my epic flying mount, anyone want to loan it to me?" is a constant message in guild chat. Its gotten to the point where I want to leave the guild and I'm in one of the best on our server. I'd rather solo everything than deal with that shit.

Only one way to handle that. Kill them all.

Get a better guild.

I'm in the best guild on the server. My brother and some of our friends and co-workers are in it. Its fine when I play with them. Its all the other tards that I can't stand.

Switch to Guild Wars?

I dunno. Just find the people who are ruining your gaming experience and MAKE THEM PAY.

Only thing is, from my experience in MMORPGs, a lot of the stupid retards actually become very strong in the game. I don't know if it's because they tend to cheat or they tend to spend more time with the game or both, but yeah. Eventually they get licenses to bully people around.

community was the reason I stopped playing World of Warcraft. I don't know about the american community, but the European is extremely elitist. It's the evil circle. To get into the good guilds you need all the good stuff. But to get all the good stuff you need to be in the good guilds.

I've once again started playing City of Heroes with City of Villains as an addition. Plus I'm beginning on Star Wars Galaxies again.

I just got Matrix: Path of Neo for the PC and have been playing it for a couple of hours. Fighting a bunch of dudes and pulling off awesome The One moves is great, but it's hindered by the fact that it's a crappy port of a game that wasn't really that polished to begin with:

Even with my new monster PC(core 2 duo with 2gigs of ram and an nvidia 7950), the game still chokes at times, specially if I'm fighting a number of opponents and I've already destroyed a large part of the environment) It seems stupid that the game is being dragged by its two major selling points: fighting multiple enemies at once and destructible environments.

The graphics are also shitty. It's probably the only PC-ported game I know of that has graphics worse than its console counterparts. Even if I bump the resolution up to 1280X1024 the graphics still look as awful as it did in 800X600, the only difference is the animation is now less fluid.

Getting around the game is also difficult. Unless you've finished all the missions, you won't have the ability to skip FMVs at the start of the level, and most of them are at least 2 minutes in length.

ya i had the same gripes about the fmv. i loved em but getting your ass kicked over n over they should let you skip after the firsrt viewing. still say the game itself had a high funfactor. bullet-time fighting was intuitive and badass. i never finished it bc a reformat lost my saved games. ah well maybe someday a revisit.

Dang...I still haven't beaten 'Splinter Cell'...

Star Wars: Battlefront

Awesome game. The AI seems capable enough to play with so single player is fun. The action really makes you feel like your character is stuck in the movies. Only gripe I have is I can't play as one of the heroes. Being Mace would have been badass, seeing as to how the jedis really seem as powerful as they are in the movies (as opposed to other star wars fpses, where a stormtrooper can easily kill a jedi)

It didn't run well on my system at first, but I found out setting the LOD slider down will work like magic. And the quality of the graphics are not that affected, it still looks ace. From the slideshow fps I was playing it turned into a smooth one, just from that setting alone(I suppose putting too much detail on lots of units on a massive map will murder your fps)

once...only once did i see a fallen jedi on that game. i was shocked...

Star Wars Battlefront is awesome, as long as your playing multiplayer.

Counterstrike: Source

I don't get why lots of people are going ape about it. It's just Counterstrike with updated graphics and maybe some minor gameplay tweaks. Minor: things that you don't really notice if you're having fun playing the game instead of just using it as an excuse to spend a month's wage on a new videocard.

Also takes up a whole lot more of space than the original counterstrike.
