What run was your favorite? The only rules are it had to have a consistent artist/writer during the run.

Mine is Ultimate Spider-man.

That's easy. It was the "new look" Marvel Family written by E. Nelson Bridwell and drawn by Don Newton, Kurt Schaffenberger, Alan Weiss and Joe Rubenstein. It started in the last two issue of SHAZAM! (34-5), ran through almost 30 issues of World's Finest (253-282) and ended in Adventure Digest (491-2).

I really liked the Johns/Kolins Flash run. Kolins's art really captured the sense of speed and motion. And Johns did a helluva lot to flesh out the characters and setting of the book. Great stuff.

It tends to put you immediately at a disadvantage and IMO is a sign of true weakness.

Okay. That particular SHAZAM! run had thebest writing since Fawcett closed their doors, and Don Newton's art was sweet.

Ultimate Spider-man is the comic that got me back into comics. It showed me hope in a medium I had given up in high school. It has been consistently the best read every time I pick it up. Bendis is my god.
