Yeah, but the script gives you no perception of pretext. Liam Neeson could be talkin' all deep and you wouldn't actually know full well what was going on at the time. You can't really tell when you intermix a bunch of flashbacks with the present.

just checked it out.
y'know, for starters, i love the fact that this second preview sorta continues where the first one left off. thats something i wish was done with all movie previews (rather than either saying nothing, or telling you everything)
i dig the training process and, miraculously unlike pariah, i love that the movie has a certain focus in that direction (especially since its really being penned as part one of X amount of films). good direction. love seeing the development of the costume and tools -- loved seeing ducard developing the gauntlets...
just great stuff.
can't wait.

Like I said ages ago. As a movie, I respect and compliment its design. YET! As a story that traces a loved comic character's life, it fucks up entirely. And this isn't just plot wise, I mean like, full on personaluty makeover. That's his most ingenius additive for fuck's sake!

So Liam Neeson is playing the same role he played in Ep. 1? Other than that, nice trailer. The 'recorded-from-theatre' look of the video gives it a weird hong Kong 70's martial arts movie look, though.

Having read the script and not liked any of the design elements released thus far, I'm going to pass on this. I'll just stick to the aniamted series and The Mask of Zorro, thanks.

I think the suit is a major gaffe.
Originally, let's face it, the "Burton" suit was a response to the fact that Mr. Keaton was hardly a body builder.
Bale is, at least judging from "American Psycho," an athletic fellow, and could have simply been put in a more "comic booky" suit, ala Raimi's "Spider-man" Donner's "Superman," or even the one in that fan film "Dead End."
I'm not sure, therefore, why they felt the need, when supposedly starting the franchise anew, to stick with a variation on that damn Keaton suit.
