I noticed in the options for quick time you can choose to save the movie to your internet cache file whenever possible. I didn't do it yet, stand by.

Quicktime works well (all you have to do is watch a clip in it's entirety, then copy and paste the file from your temp files to your desktop) but when you watch it again, it's all choppy.
Better than nothing, I suppose.
The real trick is saving Windows Media files. Real Player files sucks the Sweat of My Balls.

I know. It sucks because sometimes I see a sound clip I want and I can only get it in real player. Luckily that only happens once every couple months.
