I tried listening to guys like Stern and Mancow in the morning. Now I believe both to be trash radio. I stopped listening to Mancow when he ruined the end to Star Wars Ep.1 when my friends and I were on our way to see it. Fucking ass. I prefer rock in the morning anyway.

What sickens me is that I went to college to get my degree in Media Communications because I always wanted to be a radio DJ. It killed me when, in the year after I graduated, I got no nibbles when I sent out my tapes. These days, I'm actually glad I never "made it" in radio - I have a good job that pays well, and I don't have to whore myself to be "zany" while appealing to Soccer Moms and their rug-rodent kids. But I'll always remember how cool radio was when I was growing up and know that radio now is so sickeningly bad that it's next-to-impossible to succeed in radio.
