The first movie was brilliant. It reflected the comic book of that time so well. Also, in the original script it was supposed to be that Superman was moving so fast that he broke the light barrier and was traveling through time, seeing event move in reverse. I think the FX guys just didn't know how to pull it off.

sounds good looks good. Hopefully it will live up to the bar Batman Begins set for DC movies. Oh and i loved them using marlon brando's speech too.

It looked good, but seemed more like a teaser than a trailer - I was expecting a little more of the movie, something along the lines of what they showed us for BB. Liked Brando, but the music gave me chills!

I'm very against the idea of inserting footage of dead actors into modern film.
It was one thing for the historical setting of Forrest Gump, but for Superman? There are plenty of great older actors who could've played the role.

I agree with r3x about the Brando thing. I don't mind using John Williams again at all (though there are other composers that are just as qualified, in my opinion), but this is supposed to be a new movie for a new generation.
Overall, I'm not all that impressed by the trailer (I wasn't impressed by the early BB trailers either). We don't see footage that wasn't available on the internet before. All we get is Brandon's voiceover, a fraction of the new score, and editing that's rather blah--not enough yet to make me want to see the movie.
