After watching last weeks snore fest/RAW I almost wanted to give up watching wrestling for the rest of my life, then on Wednesday night I was flippin through the channels as I usually do and caught the beginning of NWA/TNA. Now I have been watching NWA/TNA on and off for the last year and would normally think of it as a third rate wrestling program, but for the last 2 weeks I've been finding myself really entertained by most of the program. Now most of these guys are WWE/ECW cast-offs and the rest are a bunch of no names but Russo seems to really find a way to make these guys entertaining. I even seem to find myself starting to like AJ Styles (not only as a performer cause he can wrestle, but Russo's really turned this kid into a heel) Now compare that to RAW who have a ton of established names who can't seem to put together even one main event that I care about and I start to wonder did they make a mistake by letting Russo go and replacing him with JR? And if so, should RAW try and get Russo back?

I think so yes.

Vince Russo wrote some of the best stuff in wrestling but was not at all a writer you could let go about his buisiness. I think he needed Vince's foot on his neck to keep him in line.

When he was head writer at WCW during his first few mounths there were probably the most Vince Russo influenced. After that WB/TNT put as much of a leash as the could on him.

Russo had some major writing and directing flaws.

One example being that (I'm not exagerating) every single match that wasn't at a PPV ended in a run-in for a DQ.

That shit gets old when it happens every fucking night.

However now Russo has had a taste of freedom and power and no longer wants to be Vinny Mac's bitch.

To put it in other terms I woulnd't want to move back under my Father's roof after owning my own apt. It just ain't gonna work out.

Also Vince DID hire Russo back for a short time as some sort of consultant. Russo was back with the WWE for less that a week!

As a pair both did great booking. Apart they kinda suck.

I see what you're saying but Vinny Mac is a business man first, and if he thought Russo would help, he'd bring him back. Look at Hogan and Sable!

Doc and Grimm have some new friends...aww...

Anyways, Russo goes insane when given the least amount of power in a big company, so no, RAW does not need Russo back anymore than they needed Scott Steiner or Mae Young.

And for the record, Russo was brought back to the WWF last year to be head bookie, but after one meeting even Vinnie Mac and company didn't think he had an original thought in him.

WCW had that problem long before Russo showed up. The constant 20 guys run in to save Hogan every show? Hello? Anyone? Bueller?

Resorting to a personal attack, I win!

Aye, 'tis true. Main reason why Goldberg got over, I think. His matches were the only ones that had good, clean finishes.

I think the WWE needs more racism! More Whiteboy Challenges! More lying, cheating and stealing Mexicans with Japanese counterparts! More HHH!
