Hello, everybody, and welcome to my show, Happy Hour, where your favorite celebs can sit back and enjoy some nice intellectual conversation. I'm Tobias Christopher, and my guest tonight was recently released from rehab after postponing his concert tour with the Backstreet Boys. A.J. McLean! How you doin', you old boozehound?
A.J.: Uh, I'm fine, Tobias. I've been sober for a few weeks now, and I feel I can get back on tour with the others with no problem.
Tobias: That's great, A.J.. Let's celebrate with an ice cold Bud!
A.J.: Uh, no, that's okay. I don't drink.
Tobias: Holy cow, what are you, a ***?
A.J.: No, I just got out of rehab.
Tobias: Oh, right. So, what are your plans after finishing this tour?
A.J.: I think we're all going to take some well deserved rest. I think I'll some time off at home, enjoying the peace.
Tobias: Uh huh. (pops open a beer) Now, a lot of people have been saying that the Backstreet Boys are losing their fan base to NSYNC. What's your opinion?
A.J.: (watching Tobias drink) Uh, I think that NSYNC, uh, doesn't have... Tobias, do you mind?
Tobias: Oh, right. Just let me pour this into a nice, frosty, mug. Go on.
A.J.: Uh, like I was saying... NDRINK, er, NSYNC, just doesn't have the level of talent that we as a group possess.
Tobias: You mean they actually stay on the wagon?
A.J.: Look, I know what you're trying to do.
Tobias: Uh huh, and that is? (takes long drink)
A.J.: Please, would you mind not doing that? Every minute is a constant reminder to stay sober.
Tobias: What's the matter, you afraid you're going to get drunk and act like an a**hole? Well, too late, scooter, that train's already left the station. (music starts) Sh*t, we're out of time, so long everybody.
A.J.: I think I'll go back to my hotel now.
Tobias: Be sure to take advantage of that mini bar. Those things can really ease the loneliness after a long night of singing to pre pubescent girls with screechy voices.
A.J.: I've gotta go. After this interview, I need a drink.
