It was recorded last year in like April or something. So it was done a while ago. The fact that they used such over the top effects highlight the small, studio-like appearance of their set-up as opposed to WWE and old WCW set pieces put up in large arenas across the country.

What makes me laugh is one of their "Big Names" is X-Pac....
I guess they didn't notice the lack of crowd reaction everytime he came down the ramp on WWE TV. Not to mention that obligatory gay bronco buster in every match.

Some of the wrestling looks impressive. Though it remains to be seen whether those guys can wrestle a whole match or just do big spots. Seems like they're trying to combine the hardcore/extreme nature of ECW with the cartoonish antics of WWE. That's where they lost me. That shit is too over the top for me.
