The Guardian is a well-established, anti-American, anti-Trump far-Left publication. They are as much Leftist propaganda as the New York Times, Washington Post and CNN.

It's very well established that in truth Putin and the Russians wanted Hillary Clinton and the Democrats to win, because they would do the most internal damage to the U.S., and therefore would strengthen the international position of Russia.

Whereas Trump pushed back against Russian invasion of Ukraine, Trump pushed back with punishing sanctions on Russia, Trump provided U.S. oil to European nations that made them less dependent on Russian oil, Trump halted the Nordstream 2 pipeline from Russia to central Europe. All this took hundreds of billions in oil profits away from Russia, that prevented Russia from channeling that money into weapons and further aggression.,
It's quite clear that a Democrat administration is what Russia, China, Iran and North Korea want. They are openly crowing about it.

Gordon Chang, on Maria Bartiromo's show, said that China is watching the U.S., letting the Democrat Bolsheviks do the maximum damage to our country, both economically and in diminishing our military preparedness. And when they see the U.S. to be at its weakest, to have done the most damage to itself, to be its least prepared, that is when China will strike. China has already emboldened their attacks and threats on India, Nepal, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Australia. That's not a sign that China or Russia in any way feel threatened by potential action from an incompetent Biden. Russia and China have entered a new mutual defense pact for 25 years.
Even North Korea and Iran are laughing at us with glee, they can't believe what they are getting away with, and are accelerating their production of nukes and missiles. China has threatened in the last week to batter bloody any who oppose them.... as Biden's military runs commercials for transgender opportunities in our military, and has done away with push-ups and running as requirements for officer re-certification.

It's quite obvious who the Russians and Chinese want in power, and it sure isn't/wasn't Trump, in 2016 or now.
