I started out on the dc boards then someone mentioned these. I became obsessed. I want to bring some smart people over to these boards. Pen wing mentioned wannabuyamonkey and I would love to debate him on other subjects, along with some select others. Any one want to try to get them to post here? And how would we do it? Anybody?
I agree with keeping it small. I wouldn't want this site turning into another DCMB. Let's not forget how crowded it got when the Legion-lovin' crowd first got here.
invite whomever you want. no fear in getting a few extra posters. the masses will never end up hanging out here cuz its not a kid-friendly place (and makes no attempt to be), plus its not official at all.
so, invite people you think'll fit in best. boo yah.
Bring them on! Bring every last living sucku over from the DCMBs...and then this will be the new DCMBs! Rob will still be head honcho...but he won't be getting paid or getting free comics anymore!

I rexstardust over there also. I'm rexstardust everywhere I post. I have read some of your posts but have generally stayed away from the 30 pages threads. My plan is to get select people from the dc boards. Does anyone have their e-mail or im?
I'd rather not have the idiots on the DCMB's here, frankly. A big reason I like this place is because it's small, easily navigatable, and yes, even somewhat exclusive. It's the purgatory for the banned. I'd like to keep it that way. That's it's charm.
Well rexstardust, you can achieve your ambitions in four easy steps.
What you need to do on the DCMB is:
1. Start a superhero message board adventure with your "select" group of smart members contributing to the story-line and basing the characters on your good selves.
2. Rob will delete your group for being off-topic.
3. Each member of your group should then e-mail Rob, asking why he deleted your topic.
4. Rob will suggest that you all start-up again here on the RKMB.

Bring anyone from the DCMB, rexstardust. We have a duty to enlighten as many DCMBers about this board and to broaden their knowledge-base outside of comics (to include women, sports, computer games, the latest in smilies and superhero message board adventures... )
The deal I have is that I'll stay here as long as the number of jerks from the DCMBs who migrate here stays limited, or if the people who gave me the most grief stay away. If the biggest jerks of them all (and we already have one in our midst) start flooding in and if the idiots who drove me off the DCMBs in the first place show up, I'm outta here.

Agreed. It's bad enough we have MOTA here (and he's earning a bad rep for himself everywhere else on the 'Net). If He Who Is (the ringleader of the people who drove me off the DCMBs) or Shatterstorm (the biggest DC/WB tool on Earth) ever show up, I'm leavin.' Those guys drove me berserk. (There's others I'm still carrying a grudge against, but I'll spare you their names for now.)
New members are fine. Jerks and egomaniacs, on ther other hand, are not. And one massive jerk here is more than enough.
