The only problems I've come across is the occasional radscorpion stuck in the ground or wall.

How far after meeting up with the Brotherhood and before going to the irradiated vault is the end of the game, cuz that's where I am. I've got quite the assortment of power armor now. I wear Brotherhood armor for the plus two strength to carry around a buncha shit to sell that I get off of the dead bodies. I gots lots of Enclave Armor from their ambushes (mother fuckers will set down in a helicopter next to you) and an even better form of Enclave Armor called Tesla Armor. No bonuses to stats, but it's got close to a 50 DR.

Also, for the ultimate power armor, if you meet Crowley in Underworld, he'll give you a list of anti-ghoul 'bigots' to kill. 100 caps for shooting them in the head like a zomibie movie and 25 for any other death. Do some talking around, and you will find that there's more to him than what he says. Talk again and expose the fact that you suspect something is going on. He won't tell you exactly what he's doing, but you can talk him into giving you the 100 caps per kill no matter what. He just wants the keys that the men (Tenpenny, Dave (Republic of Dave), Ted Strayer (Rivet City), and Dukov) have. These keys are supposed to open a room to the power armor in Fort Constantine.

I have the Fort Constantine power armour. Its a medic suit, which I didnt find to be that great.

Once you have done you power armour training, you basically walk around the citadel a bit looking at computers, then have to head off to vault 87 to get the GECK.
After that, its a quick assault on the memorial/project purity, and game over!

ps: there are only really three keys, and you dont actually have to kill the men Crowley wants you to.

I killed Dukov and Strayer before I sussed out Crowley isnt as honest as I thought, after speaking to Dave, he gave me the key without any problems and Tenpenny clued me in to Crowleys plan.

Tenpenny is the key to getting the true story, but does not have a key!

I seem to remember that I was just able to talk people into re-electing Dave.

That's the default. You can convince two people to run against him, but no one else will vote for anyone but Dave. Once everyone has voted and Dave opens the ballot box, you can grab all the votes for Dave out of the box. He'll leave the Republic in defeat and walk into a couple of Deathclaws that will shred him apart. At least that's what I've been told will happen by a friend who has the game. He also told me round about where the crashed alien ship with the Alien Blaster is. I'm on vacation from tomorrow until the first of the month, so I plan on doing a lot more farting around before finishing the game. Thanks for the heads up about the ending, as I was damned close to it.

I had a feeling I was close to the end, and decided to go off doing some exploring (I had an explorer perk which opened all the locations on the map), but was only finding caps and ammo etc, no side missions, so I grew bored and carried on with the story.
Much to my chagrine, I hadnt realised just how close to the end I was, and had to end up finishing the game!

I reached level 20 sometime last week, so there was also no more levelling up options, which made the game lose some of its shine as well!

The original Fallouts capped at 20, and it actually makes sense that this version would as well. With far less skills than the Elder Scrolls games, continued leveling would allow you to max out every skill and gain most, if not all, of the perks.

Oh, and I took the Grim Reaper perk at 20 that immediately refills my VATS action points if I kill someone in VATS. Useful underground with the ghouls, radscorpions, and molerats.

Molerats I have no prob with as I have the animal friends perk, and I also have a ghoulskin mask which stops feral ghouls from attacking.
All very useful.

I have the mask, but not the perk. I likes shooting them in the head with VATS too much to use either. Combat shotgun, mother fuckers!

The animal perk is actually pretty usefull if you go to level two of it.
If anyone attacks me and molerats, wild dogs, brahim and yao guai are about, they will attack my enemies.
yao guai are pretty damn impressive at killing!

i know its old but i finally finished splinter cell: double agent. it was pretty good. Ending was kinda weak but ill play it again to see if i can get a different one...

Yeah, I'm saving that bitch for the Enclave since their armor is pretty impervious to anything but energy weapons and missiles.

I think I'm going to start playing that one again as soon as I finish Link to the Past and Ocarina Master Quest, again.

I don't have a lot of game time with the semester winding down toward finals week the way it is, but I still manage to fit in a little city of heroes every so often. once finals are done I'm going to start playing back through the original half-life because I'm working on a screen adaptation for gooz's online movie-game-thing and could use the immersion.

I'm playing through Fallout 3 again.
This time I am concentrating on the side missions more, and intend on visting every location on the map before I pay more attention to the main storyline!
Amazing how quick you can level up second time around, as you make better decisions with perks etc, and have a better grasp of the controls etc.

This time I around I have had no issues with bottle caps, ammo or stimpaks.
I have nearly 15000 bottle caps and around 80 stimpaks in my posession right now.

The trials in Gerudo are a pain in the ass.
