PC...I was good at Revolutions for the 360, the computer version is a different story. Fucking computer cheats like fuck, either that or I'm doing something terribly wrong.

I found a good website for strats, but I don't feel like reading a 25 page PDF file right now...

Love this game.
In essence its a fairly basic action/adventure game akin to something like Tomb Raider, but the fact you can chop peoples limbs or head off, is pretty sweet.

My personal favourite kill so far has been jumping onto a helicopter, pulling the pilot out through the windscreen, then shoving his head up into the spinning rotars.

The cut scenes are brutal as well, with lots of blood spray and squelchy noises as people are gutted.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Holy shit. I just installed it this morning and I've already missed half a day's worth of work.

Screw Activision, though. Cheap force feedback gamepads will not work and will crash the game at startup (I've seen that there are a lot of complaints about this problem online, not just with my particular brand of pad). Had to uninstall my drivers and use the one that came with windows, which means no force feedback.

The game itself is basically just X-Men Legends II with more polish and different skins. In fact, turning off advanced lighting makes the game look like X-Men Legends II. But that advanced lighting thingie is awesome, makes the graphics look halfway photorealistic, with the disadvantage of effectively reducing the framerate on crappy videocards.

Plants VS Zombies

Played the demo. This might be another excellent popcap game. I'll probably give in and buy it on steam tonight.

Holy fuck. CIV 4 complete with colonization is on steam for only 35 bucks. Its usually 40. That's damn cheap for a collection with that much game play.

Just rebought this for the PS3 last week.
It is a good game, but can get a bit repetitive after a while, which is why I got rid of it before.
Most annoying thing though is the gaps between game saves on some levels.
I found myself running right back to the begining of the level several times, just to save the game.

I just played the demo and that part was in it. This is the Wolverine game that is actually a Wolverine game. I'll be picking this one up eventually.

I figured out what this game is. Defend your castle + desktop tower defense. I enjoy those types of games but when you add them together they're a lot more fun.

The 360/PS3/PC version is called the uncaged edition, and it is indeed a proper Wolverine game (it is 18 rated here), with you actually being able to impale people on spikes, gut them with your claws, rip limbs off, behead or rip someone in half.

The PS2/Wii/PSP/DS versions are not the uncaged edition, and are missing all the blood and guts etc (it only has a 16 rating).

Yeah, that game was a lot of fun. Iceman's solo mission was a pain in the ass, though....

After beating and playing through a good part of all the extra stuff in plants VS zombies I think its safe to say that popcap is now one of the few AAA game studios for the PC.

Left 4 Dead...what a pile of wank. I seriously hate this game, but I want to get some more Achievements out of it before I throw it out the window.

Halo 3...it's not too shabby; not my favorite, but it has it's moments...

No, man...it's just pure chaos. The graphics blow, only one gun has a scope and you can't use it all for the most part, you can only carry one med pack and explosive at a time, it's pure chaos, MP sucks ass, it's pure chaos, on and on...

Gears and even Halo 3 make it look so weak...

I like Left4Dead. Even though I have no friends to play with \:\(

My only complaint is that it's probably highly unoptimized, as its performance at the lowest settings is roughly half of what I get with HL Source at the highest settings.

That, and I can't see Zoey's tits no matter how many times I shoot the fucking bitch.

Any good? I've been seeing mixed reviews.

Normally, I'd agree with you; but I got a great deal on Hells at the market last week and loaded up. Frankly, I really don't have room for all these Hells and need to get rid of them before they spoil.

For fans of Ghostbusters, yes. For anyone else I would say rental. So far I enjoy it. The story is good and feels like a true continuation from part II(the movie). The game is really fun and I am enjoying it. It is a blast to hear everyone play their parts again.

They also added little easter eggs for the fans. For example, when you are in the Ghostbusters HQ, if you wander around to Egon's computer the ending to the original Ghostbusters game is on the screen. They also have Vigo's portrait and you can interact with him.

The only cons I have so far are that:
the characters seem a little stiff
the gameplay can be a bit confusing/difficult sometimes
No option to save manually
Long load times and that is even with the mandatory install.

All in all, so far so good. Worth it to me!
