Pelosi: Border Children Should Be Treated Like Refugee Baby Jesus

 Quote:
Tuesday on MSNBC "Morning Joe," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) discussed the humanitarian crisis of tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors illegally flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border.

The congressional leader dismissed the strain on our nation's financial resources to care for all the children of the world in troubled areas, saying she believes the U.S. government should look at the children like "baby Jesus," who she added "was a refugee from violence."

Pelosi said, "In Washington, I see an embrace of the idea that this is a humanitarian crisis by people who are not politicizing the issue. What we need to do is have the supplemental that gives us the resources to meet the humanitarian needs, to do the border control, but also to have the judicial piece so that these children have representation and judges to hear their cases. those who have a right to stay, whether it's refugee status or asylum."

Pelosi concluded, "I reference the conference of bishops statement in which they say baby Jesus was a refugee from violence. Let us not turn away these children and send them back into a burning building. That's the bishops, so we have to do this in a way that honors our values but also protects our border and does so in a way that the American people understand more clearly."

I'm sure Egypt stopped enforcing their border defense, and the Pharoah offered de facto amnesty to millions of illegal children, that created an anchor for millions of parents and extended family to get amnesty as well.

And I'm sure coyotes told the baby Jesus to say he came to Egypt for escape violence to hide that he truly came for economic opportunity. And that polls of the people in Israel he was escaping from actually showed that the widespread perception violence had declined.
The parallels are just so clear!

Texas State Sen: More Illegals Enter than People Born in State Each Week

 Quote:
Each week, more illegal immigrants enter Texas than people who are born in the state during the same time period.

On Monday's The Laura Ingraham Show, Dan Patrick, the Texas state Senator who is the Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, said two weeks ago, Border Patrol agents "apprehended almost 10,000 people crossing the border, in one week."

"Every week, week after week, we've been averaging for the last year apprehending between six and ten thousand people a week," Patrick said hours before Texas Gov. Rick Perry formally announced that he would be sending National Guard troops to the border. "If we apprehend eight or nine thousand a week, that's more people than are born in Texas each week."

Patrick also said law enforcement officials have told him that somewhere between one in five and one in ten illegal immigrants are actually apprehended.

"Now, we think we catch one out of every five. That means twenty five or thirty thousand are crossing the border, that we don't catch," he said. "Don't focus on the numbers that are apprehended, that's the ones we catch."

Patrick said "we didn't have this great wave of young people" before President Barack Obama unilaterally enacted his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) plan in 2012, which was when the number of illegal immigrants coming across the border spiked even as the murder rates in Central American nations declined.

Since October of last year, nearly 60,000 illegal immigrant children have been apprehended. Next year, federal officials, as Patrick said, expect that number to rise to at least 150,000. Patrick emphasized that those numbers are just those who are caught.

"You do the math," he said, saying that there are way more than 11 million illegal immigrants who are supposedly in the country, according to official estimates.

The senator's comments to Laura Ingraham in the linked radio-show audio give some hard stats.

Gov. Rick Perry a few days ago cited that about 2,000 murders and 8,000 rapes in his state alone are by illegal immigrants. And that's not even taking into account the illegals spreading out from Texas to the other 47 contiguous states.

And that they estimate only 1 in 5 are caught, and many are criminals, and MS-13 gang members.

Exclusive: Border Patrol Warns MS-13 Using Nogales Processing Center as Recruitment Hub

According to Border Patrol sources, violent MS-13 gang members are using the Nogales processing center in Arizona as a recruitment hub and as a transfer point for gang members to get into the United States.

The Red Cross has set up phone banks inside the processing center so unaccompanied minors can make phone calls to family members inside the United States and back home in Central America. According to sources, those phones are also being used by MS-13 members to communicate with gang members already in the United States and operating in cities like Atlanta, New York and Chicago. Further, many teenaged males inside the facility have approached Border Patrol agents and have said gang members have tried to recruit them from shared cells. According to the FBI, MS-13 regularly targets middle and high school students for recruitment.

"The National Border Patrol Council believes there to be serious security issues at the Nogales Processing Center. Agents' hands are tied due to the policies governing the care and lodging of juveniles and this has allowed gang recruitment and activity to flourish amongst those being detained," vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Shawn Moran tells Townhall. "Customs and Border Protection needs to do more to ensure that gang members that are in custody at the NPC are identified, prosecuted, and prohibited from benefiting from this crisis."

Earlier this week an internal Border Patrol summary confirmed at least 16 MS-13 gang members from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala are being housed in the processing center after graffiti was found on bathroom walls. These same gang members admitted to acts of torture and murder in their home countries before heading north to the United States.

"Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) and Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPOs), assigned to The Nogales Placement Center (NPC), discovered that 16 unaccompanied alien children (13 El Salvadoran males, two Guatelmalan males and one Honduran male) currently being held at the NPC are members of Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13). The MS-13 gang members admitted to their gang associations following a discovery of graffiti at the NPC. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) were notified," the summary states. "Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) were notified."

MS-13 members are required to be processed by Border Patrol and then are handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where they are often times placed inside the U.S. and given a court date. They rarely show up. By U.S. legal standards many gang members operating in Central American countries and traveling north are classified as minors due to being under the age of 18. However, many young males are actively engaged in violent cartel and criminal activity, yet are treated as children when processed through the Department of Health and Human Services or Department of Homeland Security systems.

Those little darlings are just so cute in their gang tattoos, writing gang graffiti messages in refugee center bathrooms, admitting to torturing people in their home countries, and threatening/intimidating other kids in the center to join their gangs.

No wonder Nancy Pelosi loves them.
To her gangs are just another union that will eventually join the corrupt Democrat voting machine.
