I've read some bits and actually not very impressed to be honest. While I don't like Trump and think he's unfit, stuff like this really should have stayed between the two. Presidents shouldn't have to worry about gossipy books from people that were in Comey's position.

Even Brett Baier, who anchors Fox News' Special Report 6 PM news broadcast said he hasn't read it yet, but that he will before he interviews Comey on April 26th.

All I've seen so far is:

1) Comey's unprofessionally personal and vindictive insults toward Trump, about his orange hair and orange tan and circles below his eyes like he wore tanning salon goggles. And that Trump was shorter than Comey expected when first meeting him. And that he had small hands (implying other things on him might be small.)
Vindictive personal remarks like that.
2) That Comey offers no new information, beyond making himself look like the hero in every situation he describes, and everyone else, including Trump, to look like villains.
3) Characterizng Trump without facts to appear like a crime boss, expecting loyalty from his staff. Wow, what a shocker, that a president or businessman or FBI chief would expect their staff to be loyal and not betray him!

In the same day, the quotes revealed from Comey's book have self-incriminatingly shrunk his character and public image. That makes his firing much more justifiable and in the nation's best interest.
And the same day, The Inspector General's report was released to show that Andrew McCabe was dishonest and abused his power for his own personal gain, and not for the best interest of his investigation or of the FBI. That makes his firing more justifiable and in the nation's interest.

On both counts, a win for Trump. That deflates the myth that Trump was thuggishly leveraging either one out unfairly. (And as Sara Huckabee-Sanders said at he press conference today, Schumer, Pelosi, and Bernie Sanders all called for his dismissal in 2016 as well, before saying Trump did it unjustly when it served their false narrative later.) Their own pettiness and abuse of power entrusted to them, not Trump, caused them to be fired.

But the media will fawn all over this book every day for a week or two, just to attempt to thrust another false narrative on Trump. One already proven false. Just as every other liberal narrative has been proven false in the last 15 months.

Have to read the report but wasn't it it based on leaking unfavorable Clinton stuff. And Trump in his own words revealed why he fired Comey. Nobody buys that he fired Comey because he was unfair to Clinton.

It was based on Andrew McCabe releasing information in a self-serving way, not in the interest of the FBI's investigation. And it involved a donation by Clinton operative Terry McCauliffe to his wife Jill McCabe's political campaign of [exact amount undisclosed] "over $500,000."
That McCabe's decision to release information or file/not file charges or investigation at the FBI is clearly influenced by a then undisclosed >>>VERY<<< large contribution to his wife's campaign, that puts him and his wife in the service of the Clintons.
