Twitter covers that image in so many tags, it's hard to read it!

But I like Christmas cards like that from comic artists and bullpens for different publishers.
A few I've looked at in the recent past were from Dave Sim, Bud Root, and a Christmas card
I got a few years ago from Bud Plant.

A 1970 Marvel bullpen Christmas card. Sometime before Stan Lee stepped down as editor in chief in 1972.

This one looks to be a late 1970's Marvel Christmas offering.

Marvel's 1967 card.

I'd guess John Romita as the artist.

I just realized, in your original image, Santa is Bill Gaines. I've never seen a picture of him without a beard.
Easier to see, without the captions over it.
I'd guess this was done in the late 1950's, while Kurtman and Orlando were still at EC/MAD magazine.

...and why settle for one Barks painting, when it's possible to post two?

The Will Elder Christmas image in black and white:

Harvey Kurtzman in that EC image looks like PeeWee Herman!

I know Will Elder best for his 1950's MAD and PANIC work for EC, and also war stories with Kurtzman and Severin in
TWO-FISTED TALES and FRONTLINE COMBAT.
And for his "Little Annie Fanny" work for PLAYBOY.

This one caught my eye because, similar to the EC card, it's crowded with characters. I looked to see if there were
any familiar EC staffer faces in the crowd:

The same image in color.

For obvious reasons, the Budd Root Christmas cards are ones I regard as some of the best.

Wow, someone blog-posted the entire story for the "sugarplumbs" image I posted above from PANIC # 1,
where apparently the EC staff Christmas image saw print.

I thought this was pretty cool. A New Zealand trucking company did some imaginative parking for Christmas.

It kind of reminds me of some neighbors of mine a few blocks away a few years ago, who put JESUS! in giant
15-foot letters with lights on the roof of their house.
Aliens passing Earth could probably read it from space.

Checked the list twice, I did.
A Merry Christmas, you will have.

I bought a set of these cards at a bookstore after Christmas one year, and sent them out two years ago.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the Yoda Christmas.

By Star Wars movie design artist Ralph McQuarrie.

As a lawyer, I thought you'd get a kick out of that one, and maybe even buy a set to send out.

Now it turns out you already have.

There were actually a lot of lawyer-themed Christmas cards I looked at. I guess you guys are a good market for Christmas cards.

A lot of law firms send them out to clients as a marketing tool. So yeah.

Two Arthur Adams covers that would make good Christmas cards for Marvel.

Another nice EC Christmas card offering. Love the William Gaines toy puppet! Gaines in this image having his more typical appearance with a beard.

Another from Marvel, where for me the heroes in the right costumes are wonderfully their 1970's/1980's selves.

Perhaps an office Christmas card for a divorce lawyer.
