Rome Total War.

This game regularly hands me my arse. When I do pull off some daring military manoeuvre – for instance a couple of days ago when I managed to choreograph a pincer movement with a rank busting cavalry charge – it makes victory all the more sweet.

One side effect of playing this game, is that I’ve begun to research how Roman armies fought battles and the tactics and psychology that they used against their enemies.

It's definitely worth your money IMO. I like the ability to demolish any building, order cars, supplies, and air strikes.

I finally beat Final Fantasy 7. It pissed me off when it said I only completed some characters 70% when I worked them up to 9999 HP and 999 MP and they were all at level 90 or above. Anyone know how to completely max out the characters?

Chrono Chross is probably the most complex game I ever got into. It takes a great deal of devotion to get into it, but I think it is well worth it.

I guess I didn't like the game engine...

I prefer the sega saturn type RPGs and the Xbox ones..although Grandia is my all time favorite...well, I don't consider KOTOR a traditional RPG..

I did it the cheap and easy way...it's called a GAMESHARK!!!

The shark also allows you in a secret room that allows for insane power-ups, materias and warps to any section of the game

I just realized how stupid I am. I meant FF 6, not 7.
Stupid me.

Anyhow, I'm about halfway through Chrono Trigger now. This is one of those games that I could easily consider a classic. Its still as much fun to play today as is was when I first played it yers ago.

Which rare items? I've tried beating Chrono Trigger while Crono isn't on the team (dead). It's friggin' hard, but I want to see all the different endings.

There's a rock that gives Frog/Glenn a triple tech technique and some other things I need to see if I remembered to get.
Try getting all the extra endings on the second or third time through.

Ah yes, then there's all those hidden power tab things. If I remember correctly there's a Silver Rock, Black Rock, and probably a Red Rock (or some other color) that each give players different Triple Techs.

Those are the rocks I'm looking for. I don't really care about the power-speed-magic tabs.

I finally snagged "X-Men Legends," and I'm currently plowing through it (I'm at the Weapon X flashback.) I'm really enjoying it, and the gameplay is very easy (complicated gameplay has ruined more than one game for me). Having Patrick Stewart voice Xavier is an added bonus.

I'm still mostly playing Smackdown vs. Raw. I've a few legend challenges left to beat: The Barber, The Legion of Doom, The Rock n Sock, and the Brothers of Destruction namely. It's that last one that's a real pain in the ass.

Okay. Only two challenges left to beat on Smackdown vs. Raw- The Brothers of Destruction Challenge and The Barber Challenge. And they're both a ROYAL pain in the ass! I've gotten VERY close to beatig the BOD with Batista, Big Show, and Kurt Angle, but haven't managed to finish them off.

True dat. I especially love going to the top of the Empire State Building and jumping off, then seeing how long I drop before I swing out.

I got my new X-Box magazine in the mail today and the demo disc has this cool game called "Destroy all Humans". This shit is FUN!!! It's a 50's-ish style flying saucer game where you play an alien grey with death rays and TK powers and you control him as he wreaks mayhem.

Needless to say, this one is already on my MUST BUY list. Not too many games end up on that list as i'm not a hard-core gamer but do enjoy entertaining and unique games.

Still have not beaten Splinter Cell or Halo 2 or GoldenEye: Rogue Agent. However, my roommate got some game (Hunter: The Reckoning I think) that we beat in two days. I didn't like it at all.

GoldenEye is soooooo wonderful. I don't know how I'm going to go back and fianlly beat Nightfire, since I find GoldenEye to be such a better Bond game.

I mean, really, at least GoldenEye doesn't have to use a bomb that's inside an electric razor. My roommate couldn't figure out why Bond was carrying his shaving gear.

My kid brother got me Knights of the Old Republic for my birthday...holy cow, this game is sooooooo much fun. At first I was bummed because it's not a two-player, but my roommate gets a kick out of watching me play ("Jackie, make your person hook up with the Carth guy. And then switch your lightsaber color from blue to purple.")
