Burnout only has one map, but still has more variety and allows you to race in different-looking places, in either night or day. Need for Speed Carbon kinda bummed me out that I always have to race at night so all the stages looked the same.

Upgrading my shit videocard with a less shit videocard is totally worth it. This is the first time I've been able to run games at max settings. And the first time I've seen my PC churn out PS3 level graphics. The crashes looked fairly realistic and I'm not sure if it's FMV or done in-game as the transition between the gameplay and the crash scenes are seamless.

Only complaint I have with burnout is it gets annoying because the background music always starts with Paradise City, which is an awesome song except if you have to listen to it a lot.
