I'm starting to hate the FPS/rail shooters on the Wii, the more that I play them. I love the old zapper games on the NES and the rail shooters on the arcades, but the wiimote, even with the gun attachment, feels nothing like it. You don't really use the wimmote to aim at targets - you use the wimmote to move a cursor that you will use to aim at targets. Big difference. This means markmanship skills are worth jackshit, even if you're a few inches off your target, as long as you manage to move the crosshairs fast enough, you'll hit the target.
It's like using a mouse that requires more effort to move. This is the first time I experienced what it's like to perspire, I was scared at first and thought that my soul is leaking out of my body.
