Was Jarvis a computer in the comics?
Yeah. It was the name of Pepper Potts A.I. in her Rescue armor.
I am assuming thats ultimates universe or something.
Simple fact is, it proves that the cinematic universe is not pulled from one source. Its a mix of main universe, ultimate universe and has stuff unique to the movies. Just because it happens in the comics does not mean it happens in the movies.
