This article started off as a marketing gag to graphic designers I work with telling them to steer away from the boring corporate designs used for fictional companies in comics and manga.

It sort of evolved into an investment review as I tried to work out what each company would be worth. The comic books generally don't say and it seemed even the guy at Forbes, who valued Wayne Enterprises over Stark Industries and Oscorp, was pulling figures out of his arse.

I couldn't think of any other companies but if you know of any let me know so I can do a second edition for next year. ARGUS (DC) is government, as it turns out, and NERV (Neo Genesis Evangelion) is a UN agency. Kord Industries is described in Wikipedia as being absorbed into Wayne Enterprises (I assume after Ted Kord was shot dead by Maxwell Lord).

Pimping my site, again.
