Well, I saw it on Fox News initially. If a playwright of the cultural significance of Edward Albee dies, it qualifies as news and current events. If I simply began a topic to discuss the aesthetics of his works, I would have more appropriately posted a topic in the media forum. But granted, I could see where this might have been a media topic.

I saw Albee lecture at a speaking appearance at Florida Atlantic University (my alma mater) in the early 1990's. He was a very engaging speaker, and very funny, and spoke for about 2 hours.

I also posted a video clip of Albee about 10 years ago, interviewed on PBS, right after he won a grandmaster award for his work. I was amazed that even with his level of success over more than 5 decades, he said any time he had a play that wasn't popular, even with the level of awards he had, he would periodically still have periods when no one would hire him!
