As sparse as Simonson's run of Batman stories is, G-man, what made you select him as one of the top 5?
I’m a big fan of his work, especially 70s and 80s stuff,overall. I was lucky enough to see his debut on the character in the Manhunter series. I think he’s a perfect transition between the hyper pseudo realism of Adams and the more stylized work of Rogers, Miller/Jansen, Jones, etc.
