Then from 1987, Trump appears on Letterman's show and is interviewed at length. In both, Letterman is adoring of Trump. This from Letterman, who has become an extreme (and mean!) Democrat partisan, going after Sarah Palin and her daughters and so forth in the most vicious of ways.
But here, until Trump became a Republican, he is still the darling of liberal pundits like Letterman.
And Trump once again is consistent in his views, what he says here 30myears ago is again pretty much what he campaigned on in 2016.
