A respected early Canadian anthology that broke new ground circa 1974-1976 was ORB, that ran for 6 issues.

For me the best talent to come out of that venture was Gene Day.
Lesser known great artists who presented intelligent work are John Allison (who later did SF anthology work in ANDROMEDA and Marvel's UNKNOWN WORLDS OF SCIENCE FICTION magazine), writer T.Casey Brennan, artist Ken Steacy, beautiful air-brush artist Peter Hsu (who specializes in beautifully detailed SF stories with a very graphic erotic element. Probably Hsu's most visible mainstream work was in Warren's 1984/1994 magazine, from 1978-1983), Don Marshall (who did a lot of SF work for STAR REACH, and the later ANDROMEDA anthology), and DC mystery titles artist Bill Payne who I mentioned in the SWAMP THING immediately after Wrightson, by possible other hands topic. Among others.

ORB is a magazine-sized anthology, with color covers and black-and-white interiors.

It was a precursor to two later elegant Canadian anthology titles:
ANDROMEDA, and the much later VORTEX.
Steacy, Hsu and others did work for ORB, ANDROMEDA, and VORTEX.
