The Democrat/liberal media false narrative of the week. That in truth reveals nothing new. It recycles things reported in the news 7 months ago, that Trump at the time said his job as president was to keep things calm and avoid a panic, while simultaneously with his ACTIONS as president moving to protect the lives of Americans.

1. Trump enacted a suspension of all travel from China on Jan 31, about 10 days after China (after knowing it was highly infectious from human-to-human, but China having lied about it for 6 weeks, allowing it to spread worldwide) finally admitted what they knew all along, that it was highly infectious to humans. [CONTRAST: Biden, the other Democrat primary candidates, the liberal media and especially CNN and MSNBC, were portraying Trump as "xenophobic" and "racist" and "over-reacting" for putting in place the travel ban. Well which is it, liberal media and Democrats, was Trump over-reacting or not doing enough!?? It's crystal clear that when you accuse Trump of over-reacting for the opening several months, you would have done nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to stop the virus coming in from China, so it's pure hypocrisy to say now that Trump "lied" and didn't do enough. You would have done NOTHING. ]

2. Trump secured the southern border against illegals. [CONTRAST WITH DEMOCRATS: Same thing. They called Trump racist and xenophobic, and they would have done NOTHING to secure a wave of Covid-19 cases coming in from the Mexican border. ]

3. Trump began a trade war with China for an entire year prior to the pandemic, that moved a lot of manufacturing out of China and vastly decreased our dependency on China, just before the pandemic. Under Hillary or Biden, that would never have occurred, and we would have been completely dependent on China for supplies, and unable to defend ourselves.

4. Trump immediately declared a national health emergency at the same time. [CONTRAST: During the 2009-2010 swine flu epidemic, Obama waited 6 months to declare a national emergency, and it had already infected millions and was out of control when Obama finally declared the emergency. It ultimately infected about 60 million people in the U.S. in 2009-2010, as compared to less than 6 million infected with Covid-19 at this point. ]

5. Trump also about a month later declared a suspension on all travel from Europe. [CONTRASTING DEMOCRAT response: derision, accused of over-reaction. Australia and Taiwan enacted similar travel bans, only Trump was criticized. But regardless, it'a clear that Biden and other Democrats would have done nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and Covid-19 would have run wild across America, killing at least the 1 to 2 million estimated to die. Only Trump's decisive leadership prevented that. ]

6. Trump went against his own medical advisors to do the travel shutdown on Chinese travel to the U.S., and only after the fact did Fauci say it was "the single greatest strategic move" in containing Covid-19 and flattening the curve, that it "saved tens of thousands of lives".
Biden and the Democrats would have let those tens of thousands die.

7. Trump was saying many of the same things that Fauci and other federal health officials, and pundit medical advisors at CNN and MSNBC, were saying. That [throughout Jan, Feb, and well into March] were all saying the annual flu was a greater threat to the U.S. than Covid-19, that they didn't anticipate Covid-19 being a great threat to the U.S., and that [like swine flu, like SARS, like other respiratory outbreaks from China] it would likely only have a brief surge, and then would just drop off in new infections and "just disappear". But Trump is held up as being incompetent and/or "lying" for saying exactly what these health experts were saying, while these others remain sainted towers of infallible medical advice.
No double standard, none at all.

8. Trump mobilized the private sector to mass-produce PPE medical equipment and ventilator machines, created mobile hospitals to contain the anticipated overflow of surging Covid-19 cases, deployed U.S. navy medical ships, and far exceeded what the media and Democrat friendly "medical experts" said was impossible to mobilize. Trump not only provided these, WAY in excess of what was estimated to be needed and (far less) actuall needed, but also had such oversupply that we could provide it to Mexico and other nations not as prepared.
[IMPORTANT CONTRAST WITH DEMOCRATS: Even when Trump supplied these resources to Democrat governors in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and California, they **STILL** squandered those resources, and inflicted the highest per capita Covid-19 death tolls ON THE PLANET on the regions these Democrat idealogues controlled. If not for Democrat governors, the U.S. would have the lowest per capita ratio of cases of any nation on earth. But even with these incompetent Democrat governors, we have the second lowest ratio of cases, second only to Germany. ]

9. Trump with his "Operation Warp Speed" (love the Star Trek reference) is fast tracking a vaccine for Covid-19 that is anticipated to be ready and distributed in November, WAY ahead of the normal research , production and distribution of a vaccine that usually takes 2 years or more. There is NO WAY that Biden, Hillary, or any other piece-of-shit Democrat, who are Cultural Marxists and despise the private sector, would similarly mobilize and mass-produce all that Trump has in the last 6 months, and (as in the example from 2009-2010 pandemic under Obama/Biden that infected 60 million Americans) Democrat leaders in charge would have done nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to contain the Covid-19 pandemic as they just sat on their hands and let it run wild across America.

And then these same Democrats have the audacity to allege Trump didn't do enough. Irony times a billion.
