The Street Fighters games (especially the Turbo versions) are fast paced action games, which really are a lot of fun. Every game is different, in the sense that you can do the same techniques and patterns over and over, but you won't always get the same results (your opponent may block, counter, or attack before you do).

The AI in the later versions can be tough, and human challengers can be tougher. Also in the later versions, you can pull off some insane combo attacks, which do require a good degree of skill and timing.

FPS games are easier to master when playing the AI, since most have the same enemies appearing in the same locations (fpr example, in one of my favorites, "Medal of Honor", you know when snipers will appear in certain buildings, based on playing the game previously). Even though most FPS games can be heavily scripted, what's not to like about mowing down people with a machine gun, or killing enemy soldiers with grenades?
