She was typical of teen-comedy casting decisions, though, as she was a then-25-year-old playing a 15-year-old. Loser, do rent the "MR" two-disc DVD set. If the musical numbers intrigue you, several of them can be seen on the second disc in continuous performance shots (and multiple camera angles), without the cut-aways needed to tell The Rest Of The Story.

Greybird 1 post Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7	Well, it's also a first-rate comedy and romance. Yeah, I know, that sounds like too much to cram into one picture. (Along with using both "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Like a Virgin." Yes, in 1899.) They pull it off, though, with panache. The various HBO channels have been running it frequently, including tonight (18 June) at 6:45 pm ET/PT on HBO Signature.
