so, there's at least 2 different people on tv right now, claiming they can talk to dead people (john edwards being the more prominantly known character).

there's also been, literally, thousands of people through out time and history who've made the same claim, to varying extents.

so...

can john edwards really see the letter "m" when trying to located your long-lost, deceased twin, "mike"? is a ghostly spirit really indicating a football, in order to pass on a tale of that one great 49ers game you attended?

or are they just full of shit, that, somehow, manage to make these miraculous guesses on top of being 90% obvious and repetetive in their other comments?

Well he seems to get it right a lot of the time! So I guess he can or is extremely lucky at guessing! or maybe he cheats and looks at background information about the people that gonna be on the show! who knows!

I don't put a lot of stock in those guys...but Sylvia Brown from Montell really creeps me out. She kinda does the same thing, except she can SEE the dead folks that haunt/guide the people in the audience.

But who knows? If God doesn't exist, and when our lives end we just shift in our reality, who's to say that maybe a special person or two can see through that veil?

I'm a "see it to believe it" person as well. I take as much stock in it as that granny who talks to pets.

Sylvia Brown creeps me out too! I think that there are spirits around us at all times...
I also believe in reincarnation, and Sylvia Brown was telling this woman that her long dead Father wanted to say Hello to her before he came back into life again...creepy, and yet WOW!
Some people are a bunch of shit...but several I think are on the line, they can talk and see stuff and I think they generally want to help people. Look at all those police/murder cases that are solved using a psychic, and all the true-life accounts of people that have "died" and come back...can't all be bull shit.

Well....I'm not saying I believe exactly,but I would like to.I'm not afraid of ghosts(maybe because I've never seen or heard any),& to actually see one would be...I dunno....cool.I live close to Gettysburg & they do these "ghost walks",going to places on & around the battlefield where ghosts have been spotted.A friend of mine related a story of how General Reynolds(who was killed on the first day of battle)has been seen & such.Someday I'll go on one for myself.

I will never watch that John Edwards show. As far as I've read and heard, there's stuff some of these psychics have done that's beyond coincidence, but It's still just a dead end. It can't be confirmed, therefore nobody really cares.

Having no belief in an afterlife, the entire issue is a bit moot for me.

Still....who is this Sylvia Brown?
